General Activities

To support disabled peoples organizations to grow and strengthen, by providing; training, awareness raising and information which builds the capacity of individuals and the organization.

To support PWD’s to get their rights and entitlements relating to all aspects of life ; education, health, income generation, transport, social support.

To advocate for inclusion of PWD’s in decision making processes such as; district planning participation, identity card distribute committee, district peace committee, district health committee, etc.

To support the implementation of international and national instruments affecting people with disabilities

To lobby for annual budget allocation from VDC’s and DDC’s to benefit PWD’s

To lobby for disabled access to public buildings

To raise awareness of issues facing PWD’s

To advocate for PWD’s to receive appropriate health and education services
