| National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) is an umbrella organization representing the Disabled Peoples' Organizations (DPOs) working for the cause of disability across the country. As an apex umbrella body it has been leading disability movement in Nepal since 1993 in rights based approach and working to ensure the human rights and dignified life of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) by emphasizing social inclusion, mainstreaming and opportunity equalization.
This is non-profitable and non-political self help organization entirely run by PWDs. NFDN has adopted
advocacy, awareness, capacity building and networking & collaboration as the key strategies to achieve its long term development goal.
NFDN has also ensured its active participation in the network of international disability movement as the member national assembly of Disabled People' International (DPI) and regional council member of DPI Asia Pacific Region.
NFDN's whole family is now happy being online to join hands with all our well wishers and stakeholders. We believe, this of course shall bring us closer to you and we now have no limitation in terms of access to us.
