Through this approach, the session encouraged participants to critically reflect on how disability is often created not only by individual impairment, but also by barriers in systems, attitudes, infrastructure, communication, policies, budgets and institutional practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The orientation covered key concepts and practical approaches related to disability models, Disability Creation Process, human rights-based development, reasonable accommodation, accessibility, inclusive budgeting, procurement, monitoring, staffing, communication, safeguarding and partnership with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities. The session emphasized that persons with disabilities are rights-holders, leaders, staff, partners, community members and beneficiaries, and that inclusive development requires deliberate design, budget, access, participation and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfdn.org.np\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_5001-1-4-1-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nfdn.org.np\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_5001-1-4-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"A large group of professional colleagues posing for a group photo in a well-lit meeting or conference room.
