NFDN partners with federal, provincial, and local governments, civil society, and development actors to strengthen disability-inclusive policies, accountability systems, and institutional capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NFDN is seeking highly qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the following positions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Project Coordinator -1 (Nuwakot Based)-Fixed Term-6 Months<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finance Officer-1 (<\/strong><strong>NFDN Federal office, Ratopul Kathmandu)-<\/strong><strong>Fixed Term-6 Months<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project Coordinator- Inclusive Emergency Response<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) is seeking a qualified and motivated Project Coordinator-Emergency Response to support emergency humanitarian response and early recovery projects in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Dhading, Nepal, with support from CBM Global Disability Inclusion Nepal. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in promoting disability-inclusive humanitarian response and recovery by ensuring that planned project activities are implemented on time, within budget, and to a high standard, in close coordination with consortium and implementing partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The position will lead and coordinate consortium teams NDWA and BYAN, oversee project implementation and partnerships, monitor the use of resources and achievement of results, ensure compliance and accountability and coordinate with government authorities, humanitarian actors, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The position will report to the Admin Manager, Program Manager of NFDN and CBM Global Nepal, based in Nuwakot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure that all project activities are implemented in accordance with approved plans, budgets, agreements, and NFDN and partner policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor project implementation, resource utilization, expenditure, outputs, and results against approved plans and budgets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead and coordinate the consortium team and provide guidance to partners for effective implementation of agreed activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure timely reporting, accurate documentation, and proper maintenance of project records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with NFDN\u2019s organizational values, Code of Conduct, safeguarding standards, and relevant policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead, guide, coach, and support project teams working in high-pressure emergency settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure effective coordination and communication among NFDN, consortium partners NDWA and BYAN, project teams, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support NFDN in developing disability-inclusive emergency response plans, strategies, and preparedness measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the development of inclusive emergency response and early recovery project proposals and concept notes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain effective relationships with implementing partners, government authorities, humanitarian actors, and other key stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with NFDN policies and procedures, including HR, Finance, PSEAH, Child Protection, Safeguarding, and other relevant policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support monitoring, accountability to affected populations (AAP), learning, documentation, and data quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead and support emergency preparedness and contingency planning activities within the project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with relevant government authorities, humanitarian clusters, partners, and development actors as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake other duties relevant to the position as assigned by NFDN management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education: <\/strong>Master\u2019s degree in Management, Sociology, Development Studies, Disaster Risk Reduction, Social Sciences, Public Health or another relevant field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian, inclusive disaster risk reduction, inclusive development, or emergency response projects with I\/NGOs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience in inclusive DRR, climate change, humanitarian response, emergency preparedness and\/or early recovery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in disability inclusion and inclusive humanitarian action will be an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in managing project teams and supporting staff capacity development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with government authorities, humanitarian actors, development partners, and consortiums will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.\u00a0 Finance Officer \u2013 NFDN Federal Office, Ratopul, Kathmandu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duty Station: Federal Office, Kathmandu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NFDN<\/strong> is seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated <strong>Finance Officer<\/strong> to support the financial management of its program operation at various projects<strong>.<\/strong> The Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and documentation of the project expenditure in accordance with NFDN policies, donor requirements, applicable laws, and agreements with partners. The position will work closely with the project team, consortium\/implementing partners, NFDN Finance and Administration team, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and transparent utilization of project resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Finance Officer will be based at <strong>NFDN Federal Office, Kathmandu<\/strong>, and will report to the <strong>Chief Finance Officer and Admin Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Management and Accounting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure proper and timely recording of all project financial transactions in accordance with NFDN\u2019s Financial Management and Accounting policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate and complete financial records, supporting documents, vouchers, ledgers, and project accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review payment requests, invoices, bills, advances, settlements, and other financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all expenditures are properly authorized, documented, coded, and charged documentation is complete, properly filed, and readily available for internal and external audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support internal and external audits and ensure timely follow-up of audit class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partner and Field-Level Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide financial guidance and technical support to project and field teams on financial procedures and documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review financial reports and supporting documents submitted by implementing partners and provide feedback for correction where necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support partners to strengthen financial management, internal controls, documentation, and accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct or support financial monitoring visits to project locations and partner organizations when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with banks, suppliers, auditors, partners, and relevant authorities on financial matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internal Control and Risk Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure effective internal financial controls are maintained throughout project implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor compliance with procurement and financial procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support prevention and detection of financial irregularities, fraud, misuse of resources, and conflicts of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure appropriate
