#CountMeIncludeMe Campaign


National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) starts #CountMeIncludeMe worldwide media campaign against all kinds of discriminations, marginalization, isolation and barriers that persons with disabilities have been facing in their day to day life. NFDN requests to all to promote this campaign as much as possible throughout the world.

Why #CountMeIncludeMe Campaign ?

Because, persons with disabilities are not counted

  • As an efficient and productive member of a family, community and society.
  • In data and statistic
  • In decision making process, development initiatives and state mechanism
  • While making public physical infrastructures, transportation facilities and establishing the information and communication system.
  • As the beneficiaries of the policy, program and budget of inclusive development.
  • As the competent and eligible person for labor market, work and employment.
  • As the competent leader of political sectors
  • In the opportunity of education, sports, entertainment and training
  • As the human rights holders.

Thus to oppose this discriminations and barriers for persons with disabilities of this world and to make our society aware about disabilities issues, #CountMeIncludeMe campaign is launched.
