<p>National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFD-N) is the national umbrella organization of persons with disabilities representing more than 400 members organizations throughout the country. NFD-N has been working for promoting the rights of persons with disabilities by contributing for disability inclusive development, ensuring representation of persons with disabilities in decision making process, capacity building of Disabled Peoples’ Organizations (OPDs) and other stakeholders, implementation of CRPD and disability specific national legal frameworks and awareness raising on disability rights. As the representative of most marginalized community NFD-N is recognized as the pioneer and facilitator for bringing disability related policies and laws in Nepal.</p>
<p>NFD-N is seeking a qualified staff on following positions so, interested and qualified candidates are requested to apply under the following TOR.</p>

<h3><strong>POSITION: FIELD SUPERVISOR</strong></h3>
</li>
</ol>
<p>Number of Staffs Needed: 1 (One)<br />
Duty Station: NFD-N’s Province Office – Koshi Province, with frequent field visits in the districts as per need of program.</p>

<h3><strong>ROLE:<br />
</strong></h3>
<p>To support effective implementation of Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program in Koshi Province.</li>
<li>
<h3><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h3>
</li>
</ol>
<h4>Responsibility 1: Leadership and Management</h4>
<ul>
<li>Support the field officer for the implementation of Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program.</li>
<li>Provide technical and managerial support to all OPD’s and Milijuli Groups.</li>
<li>Build capacity of all OPD’s, Milijuli Groups through short-term training on all OPD’s, Milijuli Groups and on-site coaching.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 2: Planning</h4>
<ul>
<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly work plan</li>
<li>Compile Palika level data.</li>
<li>Ensure rehabilitation goal and plan has been developed for all the identified persons with disabilities in coordination with CBRFs.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 3: Implementation</h4>
<ul>
<li>To support all activities implemented by the local government, ministry of social development, karuna foundation and NFD-N through the DPRP.</li>
<li>To ensure meaningful participation of OPDs and milijuli groups member on planning process and other activities implementation by the local level.</li>
<li>Support in collecting /compiling data of Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program.</li>
<li>Prepare and update list of OPDs and Milijuli Groups with disabilities of the project areas.</li>
<li>Visiting the homes and families of people with disabilities affected by violence.</li>
<li>Facilitate in skill development training and capacity building of OPDs as per need.</li>
<li>Facilitate to develop and conduct awareness and advocacy in relation to the rights of disabilities.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 4: Monitoring and Supervision</h4>
<ul>
<li>Supervision of the works of OPDs and Milijuli Groups.</li>
<li>To ensure and monitoring to local level OPDs who Grant received and implementation situation.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 5: Coordination and Communication</h4>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with concerned organizations for treatment, assistive devices and other services</li>
<li>Make necessary coordination and networking with concerned stakeholders at district and Palika level.</li>
<li>Organize regular meeting with the OPDs and stakeholders and share progress, challenges, learning a way forward.</li>
<li>To involve OPDs meeting and necessary support if needed.</li>
<li>Ensure prompt reporting to the Filed Officer including challenges, learning, information on local dynamics or any other information that is relevant to project implementation and maintain regular communication and coordination.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 6: Reporting and Documentation</h4>
<ul>
<li>Maintain documentation and record of all Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation program works.</li>
<li>Ensure timely submission of plan and report to the Field Officer.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Responsibility 7: Other</h4>
<ul>
<li>Provides assistance in other NFD-N projects whenever need.</li>
<li>Coordinate with all NFD-N staff as and when necessary.</li>
<li>Other responsibilities as assigned by the field officer.</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></h3>
</li>

<li>Visit regularly to program areas as and when required.</li>

<h3><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></h3>

<li>At least Bachelor completed.</li>
<li>Having Nepali Citizenship.</li>
<li>Sound skills and knowledge of operating basic computer office packages (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power-point) with good skills of internet, email and social media.</li>
<li>Good verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.</li>
<li>Skill on using data collection and analysis tools is desirable.</li>
<li>Good presentation skills in both Nepali and English language.</li>
<li>Good skills in coordination, team play and rapport building with diverse stakeholders such as government, OPDs, local stakeholders at community and province level.</li>
<li>Good skills on activity planning and coordination, implementation, reporting and documentation.</li>
<li>Good skills for reporting by using given tools and format.</li>
<li>Basic training facilitating skills on the various issues of disabilities with special focus to advocacy, access to justice and accessibility.</li>
<li>At least Two year of professional working experience in the sector of disability rights promotion in the province level with a proven experience of activism on the rights of marginalized community.</li>
<li>Good experience of advocacy work, coordination with local and provincial government authorities.</li>
<li>Having motorcycle driving license.</li>

</ol>

<li>Work as the main supporting hand of the project team and motivate people with disabilities and their family for income generation activities.</li>
<li>Inspire and build relationships with the partner organizations and member organizations of NFDN and others members of cooperatives, Traders, business,es etc if required.</li>
<li>Raise awareness on disability and inclusion</li>
<li>Provide support on the “how” of disability inclusion</li>
<li>Provide counseling and disability-related information to the beneficiaries and another local-level stakeholders.</li>
<li>Link farmers with disabilities with self-help groups/FPOs/traders/employers for employment, schemes and support them to access finance opportunities.</li>
<li>Monitor and support inclusion in practice</li>
<li>Support to the program officer and board member for management while conducting training, orientation, advocacy meetings, interaction, workshops</li>

<p><strong>Position: Finance officer</strong></p>
<p><strong>Number of Staff</strong>: 1 Duty Station: NFDN’s Federal Office – Kathmandu with field visit too as the need of programs and project</p>
<p><strong>Required qualification, skills and experiences</strong></p>

<p><strong>Key duties and responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the NFDN’s central financial accounting system as per the financial guidelines and the provision mentioned in the constitution of NFDN.</li>
<li>Manage the financial and accounting system of project the project.</li>
<li>Prepare the annual budget, expenditure details and complete financial status of project and submit to the treasurer, admin manager and other relevant authorities as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare the monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual financial reports and submit to concern authority and stakeholders according to organization’s policy and partnership agreement.</li>
<li>Take the responsibility of petty cash management and keeping up-to-date record of its expenditure.</li>
<li>Ensure financial management of the project according to financial and administration policy, partnership agreement, approved plan, and budget. In this regard, up-to-date records of financial transaction of project activities should be kept.</li>
<li>As per requirement and budget availability, procure necessary goods according to organizational policy, also keeping up-to-date record of the expenditures.</li>
<li>Make the accounting system of NFDN scientific, transparent and smooth through a computerized system and strengthen the financial mechanism.</li>

<p><strong><em>Required Experience and Academic Qualification</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least bachelor degree completed (master degree preferred) on management, public administration or any other disciplines.</li>
<li>At least two years of experiences working on the key position taking administrative roles and responsibilities in NGOs or business organization.</li>
<li>Proven experience of staff operation and monitoring, operation of organizational administrative process, management of organizational data, memory, documents.</li>

<p><strong><em>Main Duties and Responsibilities</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise day-to-day staff operations such as attendance, in-coming and out-going time, leave record, staff mobility record.</li>
<li>Keep the record of all administrative documents such as statute, rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, strategies, planning documents, minutes, decisions, staff profiles and so on.</li>
<li>Sign the outgoing administrative letter of the organizations.</li>
<li>Assist recruitment committee for staff recruitment and provide orientation about the organizational rules and regulations to the new staff members and board when necessary.</li>
<li>Reviewing the administrative systems, policies, and procedures and provide feedback to the board for improvement.</li>
<li>Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipmentand is working and properly maintained.</li>
<li>Ensure all the logistic service such as power supply, internet service, communication system are functioning well.</li>
<li>In coordination with program manager and financial management team set overall planning and budgets of organization, monitor the expenditure of program and activities whether it is in line with planning.</li>
<li>Check and verify all the document related to the activities and expenses and ensure that all are carried out according to the plan, organizational policies and rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Monitor the overall utilization of the budget in the program and activities and reports to General Secretary.</li>
<li>Manage the program and admin related manual and software based data of organization (collecting, storing, and disseminating) and ensure that all the data are safe and secured.</li>
<li>Building new and expanding existing skills of the staff by engaging them capacity building opportunities.</li>
<li>Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to various section and ensure that each units of the organization are following the administrative procedures.</li>
<li>Operate the procurement process of the organization as per the financial policy of the organizations and monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material.</li>
<li>Carry out other designated work by general secretary under the administrative responsibility.</li>

<p><strong><em>Main Duties and Responsibilities </em></strong></p>

<li>Supervise day-to-day staff operations such as attendance, in-coming and out-going time, leave record, staff mobility record.</li>
<li>Keep the record of all administrative documents such as statute, rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, strategies, planning documents, minutes, decisions, staff profiles and so on.</li>
<li>Sign the outgoing administrative letter of the organizations.</li>
<li>Assist recruitment committee for staff recruitment and provide orientation about the organizational rules and regulations to the new staff members and board when necessary.</li>

<li>Experience in leading the financial account keeping, handing accounting software.</li>
<li>Very good skill of account keeping in standard accounting system.</li>
<li>Sound Knowledge in budgetary control and financial planning.</li>

<li>Manage the NFDN&#8217;s central financial accounting system as per the financial guidelines and the provision mentioned in the constitution of NFDN.</li>
<li>Manage the financial and accounting system of project the project.</li>
<li>Prepare the annual budget, expenditure details and complete financial status of project and submit to the treasurer, admin manager and other relevant authorities as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare the monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual financial reports and submit to concern authority and stakeholders according to organization’s policy and partnership agreement.</li>
<li>Take the responsibility of petty cash management and keeping up-to-date record of its expenditure.</li>
<li>Ensure financial management of the project according to financial and administration policy, partnership agreement, approved plan and budget. In this regard, up-to-date records of financial transaction of project activities should be kept.</li>
<li>As per requirement and budget availability, procure necessary goods according to organizational policy, also keeping up-to-date record of the expenditures.</li>
<li>Make the accounting system of NFDN scientific, transparent and smooth through computerized system and strengthen the financial mechanism.</li>
<li>Produce all financial details and reports of projects as per the need of organization.</li>
<li>Support project coordinator in planning and preparing annual/detail budget of the project.</li>
<li> Maintain inventory of office properties; maintaining personal file record, leaves, and project planning records.</li>
