DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Call for Expression of interest (EOI) Research Expert (consultant).

KOSHISH, NFDN, SISN invites expressions of interest (EOI) from interested and qualified individual experts to conduct the study on “The situation of human rights violations of the Underrepresented Disability Groups  (People with Autism, Deafblind , Psychosocial disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities) on independent living and being included in the community. ”

The expert should have the following qualifications and experiences:

A competent individual will be selected based on demonstrated capacity and extensive knowledge and experience in conducting assessments and research on “The situation of human rights violations of the Underrepresented Disability Groups (People with Autism, Deafblind, Psychosocial disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities) on independent living and being included in the community.

The interested applicants are requested to apply with a cover letter, an up-to-date CV, his/her per day remuneration rate in NPR, and a copy of PAN or VAT registration certificate to recruit@koshishnepal.org and cc rashmita.tamang@koshishnepal.org

Deadline for application is 20th March 2023.

  • Vacancy for different Positions at NFDN

    National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) is the national umbrella organization of persons with disabilities representing more than 331 member organizations throughout the country. NFDN has been working for promoting the rights of persons with disabilities by contributing for disability inclusive development, ensuring representation of persons with disabilities in decision making process, capacity building of Disabled Peoples’ Organizations (DPOs) and other stakeholders, implementation of CRPD and disability specific national legal frameworks and awareness raising on disability rights. As the representative of most marginalized community NFDN is recognized as the pioneer and facilitator for bringing disability related policies and laws in Nepal.

  • Statement from Mr. Mitra Lal Sharma, the president, on the Completion of One Year Period of the Elected Federal Committee

    Namaste and greetings to All the member organizations, organizations working for the rights of persons with disabilities, Nepal Government, national and international partner organizations, media, all persons with disabilities, family members and all stakeholders.  

    The present federal committee has been elected from the general assembly of NFDN held in Biratnagar dated April 8th and 9th, 2019 for the three years tenure which completed its one year of the period on the last 8th April 2020. On this occasion, I am delighted to share some important progress and achievements with you all.
