The present federal committee has been elected from the general assembly of NFDN held in Biratnagar dated April 8th and 9th, 2019 for the three years tenure which completed its one year of the period on the last 8th April 2020. On this occasion, I am delighted to share some important progress and achievements with you all.
The Global Disability Summit 2025 in Berlin marked a significant step forward for disability inclusion, with over 4,700 participants and strong leadership from Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) worldwide, including Nepal. Despite the Government of Nepal not making official commitments, Nepali OPDs actively shaped the Summit’s outcomes, notably through joint pledges to advance inclusive education and implement the Amman-Berlin Declaration.

कोभिड १९, अर्थात नोभल कोरोना भाइरसको संक्रमणबाट उत्पन्न महाविपत्तिको चपेटामा आज सारा विश्व परिरहेको छ । चीनवाट सुरू भएर युरोप र अमेरिकामा फैलिदै क्रमशः दक्षिण एशिया र अफ्रीकी मुलकुहरूमा फैलिन थालेको यस भाइरसको महामारीबाट यो प्रतिवेदन तयार गर्दा सम्म ४ लाख २८ हजार भन्दा बढी मानिसहरू संक्रमित भैसकेका छन भने १९ हजार भन्दा बढीको मृत्यू भैसकेको छ । चीन पछी यसको सबैभन्दा ठूलो प्रभाव यूरोप र अमेरिकामा परेको छ भने दक्षिण एशियाली देशहरूमा पनि यसको संक्रमण बढ्दै गएको छ ।
